There’s an old Hindi saying that goes something like 'Rakt daan maha daan'

Indeed, blood donation is the biggest donation as a single pint of blood can save three lives. A single person has around 10 pints of blood in his body and by donating just 1 pint he saves 3 lives. Now think how many lives can be saved even if only 1/3 of our population adopts the habit of donating blood.


Understanding the importance of blood donation, Thrill Zone and Swaraatmika are taking an initiative in this direction. On the auspicious day of our Chief Minister Hon’ble Trivendra Singh Rawat's birthday, we are organising the biggest blood donation camp of 2017. The camp, supported by Swaraatmika, is being organized by Thrill Zone under the partnership of Doon Hospital.


To inaugurate the camp and to express his support and his desire to help others, CM Rawat will himself donate his blood. The camp, aimed at collecting 700 pints, will lay special emphasis on the participation of youths. For maximum youth participation, a number of incentives are being announced such as refreshments for all and lucky draws for 1st 500 donors with the big prizes.

and consolation prizes for the next 50 winners.

Apart from these prizes, every blood donor will receive a certificate signed by Hon'ble C.M. We will also be distributing 50 wheelchairs and 100 gifts to the blinds so as to help them .
